Philodendron scandens ‘Micans Lime’ (Philodendron Hederaceum Lemon Lime) is a vibrant and modern variety of trailing philodendron, valued for its velvety leaves in intense shades of lime green or light yellow-green. It is a tropical indoor plant, fast-growing and elegant in appearance, ideal for hanging pots, shelves, or vertical supports.
🔹 Botanical features:
• Form: A tropical plant with long and flexible stems, growing trailing or climbing (if supported). It is perfect for hanging pots or as a decorative plant for green walls.
• Leaves: Heart-shaped, medium-sized, with a fine, slightly velvety texture. The color is a bright lime green, sometimes with yellowish hints, giving it a fresh and modern look. The leaf surface catches the light and slightly changes shade depending on the viewing angle.
• Stems: Thin and yellowish-green, they arch gently and can be guided in any desired direction for decoration.
🔹 Recommended growing conditions:
• Light: Prefers strong indirect light, which enhances the lime shade of the leaves. In low light, the leaves may turn greener and lose some intensity. Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight.
• Watering: Moderate. Water when the top few centimeters of the soil have dried out. Overwatering can cause yellowing leaves and root rot.
